BEHIND THE SCENES:

They say that everyone should have a car brand in their portfolio. For me, that’s GM.

During my time on the GM team, I worked for both Buick and GMC across a variety of platforms, touching everything from website copy to banner ads to homepage takeovers and social content. But, my favorite project was for the launch of the new GMC Acadia and Terrain.

My partner and I created mood boards, narrowed down audio tracks, vetted talent, drew up sketches and then we were on our way to Detroit for an 8-day shoot. We worked with a top-notch production company who helped us bring our storyboards to life. Through CGI we were able to turn a clay-model Acadia into a stunning highlight reel and with the help of a blacked-out car, we captured live footage of the Terrain in action.
